2. Regents Examination Information

The State Education Department (SED) has agreed to add a half day to the June 2008 Regents examination schedule and to change the administration of the Integrated Algebra Regents to the morning of Tuesday, June 17. The exam was originally scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday, June 17.

The State Education Department has posted the August 2008 Regents Examination schedule and the May 2008 Component Retesting Schedule. To access these schedules, go to http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/osa/sched.html.

The Regents Examination Dates for January and June, 2009-2011 are available. They are also posted at http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/osa/sched.html and http://emsc.nysed.gov/sar/home.html

4. 2008 Statewide (TV) Turnoff Week - April 21-27

The NYS Department of Health Obesity Prevention Program and the Center for Screen-Time Awareness (Center) will once again partner for a 2008 Statewide (TV) Turnoff Week to be April 21-27, 2008. In order to plan for this event, the Center for SCREEN-TIME Awareness is offering free, two-hour training sessions beginning the week of February 4, 2008. A schedule of sessions and letter with information about the program are available by clicking here (schedule) (letter). 5. Cyber Security Awareness "Kids Safe Online!" New York State Poster Contest
