Membership

Since its organization in 1897, NYS PTA has long been recognized as a powerful force working for children. When you join the PTA, you immediately become a member of both the state and national associations as well as your local unit. It is through membership in the New York State and National PTAs that you, your unit, and, most importantly, your children will benefit.

Below is a link to a Fact Sheet about National PTA’s dues increase. National PTA’s portion of the member dues will be increasing from $1.75 to $2.25. With this change, the member dues for the combined New York State PTA and National PTA will increase from $3.50 to $4.00 beginning July 1, 2011.
