What is a Spring Conference?

Why do you need to know when your Region Spring Conference is being held and why would you want to attend? The obvious reasons should jump right out at you - connecting with other members of your region, award presentations, door prizes, food, perhaps a timely and interesting workshop.  Your Region Spring Conference is the annual meeting for your region. It is required in the region bylaws and is the platform for the presentation of the year-end business that must be conducted.  Reports of various commitees are presented, membership awards and special recognitions are given. Of great importance is the election of the officers for the coming year and announcement of chairmen appointments. By attending your Region Spring Conference, you will be participating at another level of NYS PTA and will return to your units and councils with a renewed sense of connnection and understanding of the workings of PTA.
